In March, we started the program "Building Scientists for Bangladesh.” One of the three sections that fall under this is to arrange a science-based internship for girls in classes 8-12. From June, girls will start coming to our laboratory from different parts of Bangladesh. But the girls' mothers can plan this kind of schedule better than us, so we did our first focus group with 9 mothers in a village in Mirzapur - we were impressed by their interest and tenacity.
