About CHRF

The Child Health Research Foundation (CHRF) is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to scientific research, advancing scientific knowledge, and promoting science education among diverse audiences. CHRF is registered under the NGO Affairs Bureau and was founded in 2007 by a multidisciplinary research group.

We operate with the core mission to improve child health by facilitating appropriate policy decisions on the treatment and prevention of infectious diseases, through quality research and advocacy using available resources. We work through laboratories, hospitals, communities, and surveillance platforms across Bangladesh to generate evidence that can inform clinical practice, public health policy, and vaccine introduction. We  also provide diagnostic services, support local scientific capacity, and train young researchers through our initiative “ Building Scientists for Bangladesh”.

CHRF collaborates with national and international partners, including universities, hospitals, research institutes, global health organizations, and funding agencies, to conduct high quality research that is led from Bangladesh and relevant to both local and global health challenges. Through its research, training, services, and partnerships, CHRF is committed to strengthening science and improving health outcomes in Bangladesh and beyond.
