If you walk into our microbiology laboratory, one of the first things you'll notice is this map of Bangladesh. It's not there for decoration. We use it to track the nationwide environmental surveillance we carry out at CHRF.

Behind the map is Pranto, one of our microbiologists. Samples arrive at this lab from all 64 districts of Bangladesh, where Pranto and the team process them to help us understand where typhoid is circulating across the country.
