At CHRF, every dataset helps us understand infectious disease burden, uncover demographic patterns, and monitor how illnesses affect children across different settings.

Our Data Science team brings together brilliant minds from diverse backgrounds, from mathematics to computer science, working together to transform raw data into meaningful insights. They carefully analyze data from all of CHRF's surveillance networks, hospitals and laboratories to ensure accuracy and reliability. The team also shares their skills beyond research. Through the Building Scientists for Bangladesh initiative, they have facilitated two cohorts of "Python Essentials" course, including one designed specifically for women.
