Another busy week at CHRF’s genomics lab. Our Research Officer, Deb Purna, is in the middle of library preparation, carefully getting bacterial DNA ready for whole genome sequencing. Work like this is where critical data begins, every sequence helps us understand how bacteria evolve, how they respond to vaccines, and much more.

At CHRF, this data doesn’t just stay in the lab. It informs policy, guides public health decisions, and ultimately contributes to protecting children's lives.
