CHRF is honored to be part of the Genomic Frontiers Rwanda 2025 Symposium, held from October 15–17, which brings together national and international leaders in science, research, public health, and genomic innovation.
Dr. Senjuti Saha, Deputy Executive Director of CHRF, joined the symposium as a speaker, sharing her expertise in infectious disease genomics and global health. She also participated in a Panel Discussion on the Future of Genomics, exploring the current and future applications of genomics and metagenomics in Africa and beyond. In addition, Dr. Saha served as Co-Chair and Moderator for a session featuring four lightning talks selected from submitted abstracts.The symposium also discussed “What is the Way Forward?” — reflecting on Rwanda’s vision for genomic innovation, national support, and the opportunities and challenges in building sustainable regional genomic initiatives.
