They have only just graduated from high school, but they’re already thinking about where they want to go next. And for all three, that path leads to the life sciences!

Sanjanah first came to us as a high school trainee, where seeing textbook biology come alive through experiments sparked an even deeper curiosity about science. She was also selected for a competitive summer program at NUS in Singapore, where she explored urban sustainability. Now, with hopes of pursuing life science, she is back with us as a Fellow, ready to explore science from a whole new perspective.

Our journey with Muhaiminur started last year, when we first met him as a trainee as well. Now he is back as a Fellow! His passion for science has already earned him awards at 10 national and international science competitions. He also has a talent for videography, which we’re excited to see more of.

And then there is Maheer, already a published author at just 19! He wants to explore how scientific work can address real health challenges and how communication can help that science reach the people who need it. And his desire to make a difference does not stop with people, he has already helped more than 400 animals and has 20 rescued pets of his own, all of whom he now cares for!

Three very different personalities and interests, all at the beginning of their journeys. We’re excited to see what this year brings for Sanjanah, Muhaiminur, and Maheer!
