About CHRF

The Child Health Research Foundation (CHRF) is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to scientific research, advancing scientific knowledge and promoting science education among diverse audiences. CHRF is registered under the NGO Affairs Bureau and was founded in 2007 by a multidisciplinary research group, we operate with the core mission to improve child heath by facilitating appropriate policy decisions on the treatment and prevention of infectious diseases, through quality research and advocacy using available resources. We conduct research in four hospitals (Bangladesh Shishu Hospital and Institute, Dr. M R Khan Shishu hospital & Institute of Child Health, Chittagong Ma-O-Shishu Hospital, and Kumudini Women’s Medical College) and five microbiology laboratories around the country. We collaborate with different organizations like World Health Organization, Edinburgh University, Stanford University, Johns Hopkins University, Centre for Disease Control (CDC), Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF), etc.  

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced “Senior Relationship Officer” to join our team and play a pivotal role in fostering strategic partnerships and collaborations. The ideal candidate will possess a background in science or marketing with a proven track record of building and maintaining relationships in the research community. As a Senior Relationship Officer, s/he will have the opportunity to engage with leading scientists, research institutions, and industry partners to drive innovation and impact in Bangladesh’s research community.

Required Candidate Profile

  • Master’s degree from a reputed university in a relevant field such as science, marketing, or business administration
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the research or academic community. Experience in pharma marketing or product development can be considered as well
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans and initiatives to achieve organizational goals and objectives
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Demonstrated commitment to the mission and values of CHRF


Starts at BDT 45,000/- (negotiable depending on the experience and/or qualifications of the candidate), Contributory provident fund, festival allowance (Eid/Puja/Christmas and Baishakhi) and two days weekend


  • Serve as a subject matter expert in healthcare, academic and research industry trends & developments, offering insights to assist in the decision-making processes
  • Develop and maintain relationships with diagnostics companies, hospitals, healthcare professionals, and government agencies
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and regulatory requirements related to the healthcare sector
  • Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities to support the goals of CHRF
  • Represent the foundation at industry events, conferences, and meetings as required
  • Lead the development and execution of strategic plans to enhance the CHRF's presence and reputation within the healthcare industry
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement strategies to strengthen relationships and achieve organizational objectives
  • Prepare and present reports on partnership activities, including progress, challenges, and recommendations for improvement
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior team members to support their professional development and ensure continuity in relationship management efforts
