• BSc. and M.Sc. in Biochemistry • At least two years of experience in renowned diagnostic laboratory • Must be highly organized and be particularly attentive to details. • Must possess problem-solving, critical thinking, and management skill and be able to work independently. • Must be enthusiastic to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment and be willing to take initiative. • Good communication skills • Capacity to supervise junior colleagues.

• Plan, execute and oversee laboratory activities for diagnostic testing. • Follow the SOP for specimen handling and processing, test analyses, reporting and maintaining records of patient’s test result. • Review calibration and QC results to ensure they meet specification limits. Also ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken to achieve acceptability prior releasing any test results. • Documentation and maintaining instrument, reagent, and quality control records in accordance with SOPs and regulatory requirements. • Managing reagent inventory (ordering, receiving, inspection and preparation) • Recognizing/resolving testing irregularities and assisting other laboratory personnel in problem resolution. • Notifying laboratory management about any instrument/equipment issues. • Plan and organize training sessions for general audience or study-specific personnel.
